Why We Don’t Sell HVAC Parts

If we had an FAQ page, one question that would definitely be included is “Do you sell HVAC parts?” It’s certainly a fair question to ask an HVAC company, but our answer is a resounding “NO!” Not because we don’t want to provide the services our customers want or because we are somehow stingy with our parts, but because we are trying to protect our customers from dangerous or costly situations.

A Few Reasons Why We Don’t Sell HVAC Parts

Reason #1: It really is too dangerous. Messing around with your AC or furnace is generally a very bad idea. If you try to install parts in your AC or furnace, you can get electrocuted or blow yourself up. These are some pretty dire consequences for the benefit of saving a little cash! Trust us, if you have a maintenance problem with your HVAC equipment, it is better to call in a professional than to cause serious injury or even death.

Reason #2: Even if you don’t hurt yourself, there is a good chance that messing around with your AC or furnace will damage the system. If you break it altogether, replacing it will cost a lot more than the cost of a professional repair.

Our recommendation? Instead of buying parts and taking the risky DIY approach, opt for a service agreement that includes parts and repair. Having an agreement in place will make it a no-brainer to call for help when the time comes. Call Dan at 720.876.7166 or [email protected] to discuss what service agreement level is right for you. And stay safe out there!
