HVAC Lead Technician

We offer a hiring bonus for new employees and a recruiting bonus of $250 to anyone who refers a qualified service technician or installer after an employee is with us for 30 days. Details are as follows:

  • $2,500 for service technicians and HVAC installers only.
  • $500 to be paid on the first check.
  • $500 per quarter thereafter until the end of 1st year.
  • For qualified, experienced techs only – minimum two years of experience and trade school certificate or three years of field experience.
  • School experience must be verified with a certificate.
  • Work experience must be documented by previous employers.
  • This does not apply to office employees, salespeople, field managers, or field employees not meeting the required experience and schooling qualifications.
  • Other restrictions may apply.

Lead Installation Technician

Responsibilities: Lead Installation Technician

Ability to Install and/or service Residential Furnaces, A/C and Heat Pumps

Thoroughly checking HVAC system for safe and efficient operation

Provide suggestions to clients to improve their existing system operation

Completing installation or repairs to provide honest value for the client

Completing paperwork and helping team members when assistance is needed

Requirements: Lead Installation Technician

At least 4 years of HVAC experience in Service or Installation

Possess an EPA Universal Certification (or Type 2)

NATE Certification(s) and Denver Journeyman Certificate preferred

Qualify to drive a company vehicle

Pass drug test and background check

Reside in a location within 45 minutes of our office

Installation Technician

Sensible Heat is an alternative and traditional HVAC company providing comfortable home solutions for a wide range of clients. We encourage clients to use highly efficient and environmental-friendly systems that equal a lower carbon footprint We are looking for customer-focused Installation Technician who will support the Lead Installation Technician. Other qualities include:

  • Takes ownership and pride in their work

Must be able to lift 25lbs. We pay for and support training and education for career growth. 

MUST have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 

Lead Technician

Requirements: Lead Technician

  • Safety consciousness is priority one
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to draw simple diagrams and read blueprints
  • Takes ownership of projects from start to finish

Responsibilities: Lead Technician

  • Prior to starting work, review scope of work with Manager to clarify what is required
  • Lead Technician to work efficiently and provide quality results
  • Must be able to solve problems creatively, but also ask for help when it’s needed
  • Clean and organize work areas while work is being performed and at the end of each day, so it is as clean or cleaner than when work was started
  • Maintain work vehicle and tools in good condition, and report repairs needed
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
