Top Reasons to Embrace Electrification

Alternate energy systems are the way of the future, and one simple and effective way to become more energy-efficient is by looking into an Air Source Heat Pump.

Air Source Heat Pumps are Efficient and Cost-Effective

Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) are highly efficient and cost-effective heating and cooling systems that can be used for all different-sized homes. What they do is convert cool outside air into warm inside temperatures in the wintertime, and they reverse the cycle in the summertime using the same outdoor unit to cool the home. Ultimately, by converting to an ASHP, you’re spending less on gas in winter and using electricity to heat the home. And if you are using solar panels to produce electricity, the result can be annual cost savings for heating!

Some systems we install are all electric, but others use a gas furnace for backup heat. In order to take full advantage of rebates and other incentives, keep in mind that you will need to replace the old furnace with a new unit and install a heat pump outside (instead of an air conditioner). And if your existing furnace is newer, usually less than 10 years old, you can choose to just add a heat pump. The backup heat (gas or electric) will kick in when it gets cold outside and will ensure that your home stays comfortable even during frigid weather.

Save on Air Source Heat Pumps and Help the Environment

Looking to save on ASHPs? Learn more about how our partnership with Xcel Energy and other partners can help you save with rebates, tax incentives, and financing opportunities. And if your home happens to be outfitted with solar panels, ASHPs work in tandem with those solar panels to help maximize heating and cooling, making them an ideal system to operate and run. We also offer financing through RENU, a program backed by the State of Colorado, so you can start going green right away!

We can’t think of a better way to reduce your carbon footprint and help out the environment.
