So, the summer is winding down, the pools will be closing soon and the kids are headed back to school. With Labor Day and cooler temperatures coming up, now is a great time to get your furnaces tuned up and ready for fall and winter.
A lot of our customers ask when they should get their furnace tuned up. Well, unlike air conditioner tune-ups, we don’t have to wait on the weather. We can do them at anytime! Don’t forget that you need to keep up on your furnace filter changes through the rest of the summer and into the fall. While you are running your air conditioner, the cool air is actually flowing through your furnace which means that keeping your home cool for these last days of summer depends on having a fresh filter in your furnace. Once you switch over to heat for the colder months you will be relying on that same filter so keep up with those changes to keep your units running as efficiently as possible.
