Announcement: Sensible Energy LLC will begin a new geothermal project this summer near Colorado Springs. The home is a modern log cabin that will use a 6 ton WaterFurnace water-water heat pump.
The ground loop will be vertical with 6 bores at 200′.
The geothermal system uses radiant floors to distribute the heat it produces. We will be using Uponor Hepex in the basement slab and Hepex in Joist Trak for the main floor. Also we will be operating different temperatures in the floors to accomodate for different types of flooring.
