At Sensible Heating & Cooling, we’re often asked about our consultation and service fees. We’re going on record to say unlike other local HVAC companies, Sensible does not charge a trip charge. But because the consultation, or diagnosis visit, with one of our highly qualified HVAC technicians is so valuable, we do charge a one-time diagnosis fee.
Sensible’s diagnosis fee of $89 includes a thorough inspection and assessment of your home’s heating and/or cooling system – whichever you suspect is not performing properly. Once complete, the technician will discuss with you the recommended, case-specific course of action necessary to improve/repair performance and operating efficiency of your system, as well as any pricing details associated with the analysis.
In the rare event our technicians do not have the required parts on-hand to complete the repair and must return at a later date, you are not charged an additional fee. Likewise, should you experience any troubles with the newly repaired system, for up to 60-days after the work is completed, our technicians will return to inspect the situation at no cost. The diagnosis fee remains separate from any additional costs required for repairs.
